Graydon received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from Ryerson University. Studying under professors such as photographer Phil Bergerson and filmmaker Bruce Elder, Graydon graduated with honours in 2005. While in school, Graydon showed his work in Toronto and New York, was published in several books and magazines, and was first assistant to director/photographer Floria Sigismondi. Upon graduating he acquired representation for commercial work and for music videos. Since then he has traveled to Tokyo, Copenhagen, Singapore, New York, and London to direct music videos and commercials on top of his work in Toronto. He was nominated for "Best New Director" at the International Shark Awards in Kinsale, Ireland, and won a Gold and Silver Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival in France.
He has written, directed, and edited two short films, and hopes to create more narratives on his path to directing feature films. Graydon continues to work in photography and interdisciplinary media from his home studio in Toronto.
